Berlin, June 26, 2025 - On June 23, 2025, NEUROSPACE GmbH successfully launched its first payload into space as part of the Hemera mission aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. This mission marks a significant milestone for our company and was conducted to test our space-qualified mechanical and electronic systems under real-world conditions.
During the planned re-entry of the return capsule, contact was unexpectedly lost. At present, it remains uncertain whether the capsule and its onboard hardware and data can be recovered.
Despite this setback, we were able to gain valuable insights in areas such as mission planning, launch integration, launch dynamics, and system behavior under rocket-induced loads. The preparation and launch phases were completed successfully and confirm the robustness of our technology up to orbital insertion. The knowledge gained will directly inform the planning of future missions.
